Successful grant applications for community gardening
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve received two grants to help support our new community gardening project based at Butterfly Junction.

Three mattresses, a snooker table and 35 bags of rubbish
Yesterday’s clean-up of the New Cut was a highly effective use of two hours by 22 FrANC members who enjoyed rediscovering their dexterity with litter-picker and rubbish bag, as well as good conversation and fresh air on a fine day.

Stuart Hatton Managing Director of Umberslade Corporate Development spoke to FrANC members on Wednesday 23rd June via Zoom about the Wapping Wharf development.

Reed beds in Bathurst Basin
A neighbouring community organisation “Friends of Bathurst Basin (FOBB)” has successfully secured funding and negotiated for reed beds to be installed in the basin.
