When repairs were undertaken to the wall and railings on the south side of Bedminster Bridge in March 2024, FrANC’s interpretation board was removed by the contractors and not re-installed when the repairs were over. But with the help of various FrANC members, the board is now safely back in place. Our thanks go to:
Sara Worth – for telling Steve Fay where the board was.
Steve Fay – for cleaning the graffiti from the front of this board (and several others) and telling Laura Demery where the board could be found.
David and Laura Demery – for retrieving the board (an epic march along the Chocolate Path to the amusement of several passers-by), attempting to remove the graffiti from the back of the board, and then repainting over the smeary mess they had accidently created.
Ed Hall – for providing the brain and brawn behind the operation to re-install the board in its proper place.
A real team effort!
