Butterfly Junction herb planters

Twas a glorious and sunny first Saturday at Butterfly Junction in September. Seventeen volunteers gathered to build and set two herb planters generously funded by Wessex Water!

While some worked on the planters themselves, others made their way to the cherry tree walk/cycle path to tidy up. Butterfly Junction is living up to its name. We’ve been spotting plenty of whites, admirals, and meadow browns.

Please come join us the first Saturday of any month at 11am for a couple of hours, if you can. It’s a good bit of fresh air and conversation. You’ll be helping out pollinators and the nature corridor as well. We’ll be there rain or shine…
