It was the first Saturday of the month and that meant our community gardeners met at Butterfly Junction for one of their monthly sessions.
With no regular income such as by charging a membership fee, FrANC relies on the generosity of others in the form of donations and grants.
Three locations along the walls of the Avon New Cut are now deemed as emergency sites that present a very substantial risk in the event of a collapse.
On Monday 14 July, construction work starts to repair Bath New Bridge, part of Bath Bridges Roundabout on the A4 Bath Road travelling towards the city centre.
Given the initial estimated timescale, and the additional emergency work required, it was a very pleasant surprise to discover that the bridge would re-open several months ahead of schedule on 20th June.
A section of York Road between St Luke’s Road towards Bath Bridges will close from 6th April until June. The previously closed section (from St Luke’s Road towards Whitehouse Street) will re-open.

We were delighted to have our biggest turnout of volunteers for several years last Saturday, helping clear litter from the banks of the New Cut.
