Community Gardening at Butterfly Junction – initial planning meeting
We’re delighted to have received two grants totalling £1,200 to help enable us to set up community gardening sessions at Butterfly Junction on the first Saturday of each month, led and supported by FrANC members. We hope that the sessions will attract people who would welcome the opportunity to join a small group, meet and interact with others and contribute to the upkeep of an important wildlife zone.
We now need volunteer gardeners to help with our project, so please join us for this initial planning meeting. Our project is being co-ordinated by FrANC member Guy Malkerson who will be there to explain how things will operate and to enlist some volunteers. If the weather is kind, we might make a start, so please wear your gardening clothes and bring secateurs, loppers etc.
