Litter picking winter 2023/24 season
Please join us on the second Saturday of the month from October 2023 to March 2024 for litter picking along the banks of the Avon New Cut.
We will provide gloves (if you don’t have your own), bags and litter-pickers. Invitations will be sent to all members via Mailchimp closer to each date.
The meeting point for each litter pick will be announced nearer the time.
- 14th October 2023 – meet at Gaol Ferry Bridge (Coronation Road side)
- 11th November 2023 – meet at the south side of Bedminster Bridge, near its junction with Coronation Road
- 9th December 2023 – meet on the south side of Langton Street Bridge (aka Banana Bridge)
- 13th January 2024 – meet on the north side of Gaol Ferry Bridge (opposite Gaol Ferry Steps)
- 10th February 2024 – meet at the south side of Bedminster Bridge, near its junction with Coronation Road
- 9th March 2024 – meet at Gaol Ferry Bridge (Coronation Road side)
Meet at 9:50am for a short briefing and to collect your implements. Litter picking starts at 10am. The sessions finish at 12 noon.
