Yesterday’s clean-up of the New Cut, from Gaol Ferry Bridge to Vauxhall Bridge on the Coronation Road side, was a highly effective use of two hours by 22 FrANC members who enjoyed rediscovering their dexterity with litter-picker and rubbish bag, as well as good conversation and fresh air on a fine day.
In addition to 35 bags of rubbish amassed by noon, three mattresses and a snooker table top were brought from the banks of the Cut. A big thank you to all who attended, worked hard and stepped into supportive roles where needed.
