We’re delighted to announce that we’ve received two grants to help support our new community gardening project based at Butterfly Junction.
Yesterday’s clean-up of the New Cut was a highly effective use of two hours by 22 FrANC members who enjoyed rediscovering their dexterity with litter-picker and rubbish bag, as well as good conversation and fresh air on a fine day.
14 FrANC members took part in a really entertaining presentation by Polly Emmett on her love of litter-picking.

A neighbouring community organisation “Friends of Bathurst Basin (FOBB)” has successfully secured funding and negotiated for reed beds to be installed in the basin.
As an important element of his DofE Award, a local teenager, Christopher Parker, undertook a 13 week programme of extensive litter clearance in our part of Bristol.
